Our concrete pots have thermal insulation added at the production stage, thanks to which, the plants will be able to survive the winter without any additional efforts. In the case of pots made by other manufacturers, at the time of planting, it is necessary to cover all walls with polystyrene to protect the roots of plants against temperature changes. Another important thing is to provide plants with adequate drainage made of garden expanded clay aggregate, which will ensure removal of excess water. The drainage layer with a thickness of 3 -10 cm should be additionally protected against clogging with a layer of agrotextile. Finally, we should make sure that the soil is fertile and has appropriate structure. Fertile and permeable soil will provide plants with access to the necessary nutrients and an adequate amount of stored water. To further increase the absorption of the soil, we can use hydrogel or sand and compost. Most plants do best in acidic soil. However, it is recommended to check the requirements of the plants selected by us in this respect and to examine the pH of the soil in which they are planted.

Regular irrigation is an important element of taking care of our plants in pots in front of the house. We can take care of it ourselves, buy pots with an irrigation system or equip them with a drip irrigation system. Adequate fertilisation is also very important. We recommend the use of long-acting fertilizers and following the dosages given in the manual very carefully.
